EMBRACE YOURSELF

This game prototype was made by a team of 3 people during the 10th edition of Brackeys Game Jam. We had five days and a half due to premature ending.

Dive into the introspective world of 'Embrace Yourself,' a captivating 2D adventure that explores the complex realms of emotion and identity. Split between light and darkness, the protagonist's journey unfolds across three mesmerizing acts.

Act 1 - The Descent: Witness a soul in turmoil as it splits into two, each bearing unique attributes. Navigate lush forests and ethereal landscapes as you follow your enigmatic counterpart, guided by an overwhelming sense of grief and loss. Traverse a vivid emotional landscape while seeking the truth behind your existence.

Act 2 - The Journey: Embark on a voyage of self-awareness as you navigate intricate puzzles, confront challenges, and explore captivating environments. Uncover the connection between the two versions of your character, discovering the significance of their intertwined destinies.

Act 3 - The Resolution: Reach a culmination of emotions as you ascend towards tranquility and understanding. Bask in the vibrant beauty of the final act, surrounded by soothing sounds and breathtaking visuals. Reflect on the progress made and revel in the triumph of embracing your true self.

Immerse yourself in an emotionally charged narrative, punctuated by evocative dialogues and stunning visuals. 'Embrace Yourself' encourages players to connect with their inner selves, confronting emotions, fears, and desires on a transformative journey through the heart and mind.
